u&u already has a strong social media following, which presents a significant opportunity to drive deeper engagement through a more strategic content approach. I would introduce clear content pillars to ensure every post is intentional, on-brand, and aligned with audience needs.

My recommended content pillars are:

  • Industry involvement and embedment – Showcasing u&u's active presence within the industries they recruit for, reinforcing credibility and market expertise.

  • Job opportunities – Highlighting current roles in a visually consistent, candidate-friendly format that drives applications.

  • Recruiter personality pieces – Humanising the team behind the brand, building trust and approachability with both clients and candidates (While keeping it fun and on trend).

  • Educational content for HR professionals and clients – Positioning u&u as thought leaders through insights on hiring trends, workforce strategy, and industry developments.

This pillar-based approach ensures u&u's social presence works harder — building brand authority, deepening audience connection, and supporting both candidate attraction and client retention.

Mother’s Day example

In the revised Mother's Day post , I have implemented an educational pillar alongside a feel-good milestone and understanding pillar. It targets both hiring managers and candidates with useful information relevant to Mother's Day, while keeping a warm, relatable tone from both sides.
